Nothing says Platinum Jubilee better than a lovely cake – and patients at Walsall Manor Hospital have received a tasty treat today from our Well Wishers charity!
Special cupcakes have been served up to patients and on Ward 1 this went down a right Royal treat.
Michael, 76, said: “It’s a very nice idea, thank you.”
His favourite Royals are the Queen, Kate and William.
And Janet, 78, said: “I’m looking forward to having that later with a nice cup of tea.”
She’s also a Kate fan but loved Princess Diana she said.
Fundraising Manager Georgie Westley said: “We wanted to give our patients a little treat this special Bank Holiday and arranged for cupcakes to be given out to those who are able to enjoy them.”
