A search for the borough’s most exciting performers is back as Walsall’s Got Talent 2026 returns, offering a chance for people of all ages to showcase their skills, perform live on stage, and compete for a cash prize.
The event is organised by Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust’s Well Wishers charity and is open to all residents across the borough.
It celebrates local talent while raising vital funds to support patients, staff, and volunteers at Walsall Manor Hospital and its wider community services.
New for 2026, the competition will be split into two separate categories: 16 and under, and 17 and over.
Each category will have its own winner and runner-up, ensuring more opportunities for performers of all ages to be recognised.
Auditions will take place on 5 July 2026 between 12pm and 6pm at Pelsall Community and Arts Centre. A panel of judges will select the top acts from each category to progress to the live grand final.
This will be held on Saturday 26 September 2026 at 7.30pm at Pelsall Community and Arts Centre, where finalists will perform in front of a live audience, with tickets available for friends and family, subject to availability.
Prizes will be awarded in each category, with the winner receiving £250 and runner-up scooping £150.
Georgie Westley, Fundraising Manager at Walsall Healthcare, said: “We’re delighted to bring Walsall’s Got Talent back for 2026 with a new format.
“This change means even more people have the opportunity to take part and showcase their talent on stage.
