Walsall’s Saddlers Vaccination Centre will be open on Easter Saturday between 10am and 6pm for those who want to make an appointment for their first, second, third or booster jabs this Bank Holiday.

The centre, which relocated to Bridgeman Street in the town at the start of this month,  will be closed on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday. It will re-open on Tuesday 19 April between 10am and 6pm.

Walsall Together programme manager Jane Sillitoe said: “Our relocated centre is working well and our team is happy to reassure all visitors who turn up for their vaccinations – whether they’re first timers or having their boosters.

“We want to remind parents and carers that all vaccines for children aged 5-11 must be pre-booked appointments. They can book online, via the national NHS booking system: https://www.nhs.uk/…/coro…/book-coronavirus-vaccination/

“This Saturday we have appointments for 5-11year-olds between 10am and12 noon and for those aged 12+ appointments from 12noon to 6pm. Walk ins will also be available from 12 noon for adults if the centre is not too busy.

“As national guidance changes, we will be able to offer more vaccines to further eligible groups – so please look out for updates.”

The vaccination centre is located in the former Walsall Urgent Care Centre building, next to the car park entrance for Saddlers Shopping Centre.
