Day 2
Do some stretches
Have a bubble bath
Ditch the junk food
“I speak from experience when I say that being in pain is really wearing and can take its toll on your mind as well as your body.
“By doing some gentle stretches and having a bubble bath we can help our muscles to relax. The stretches don’t have to be anything too ambitious – it could be that you can only manage a few while sat in bed – but you may be able to build these up over time. This can make you feel stronger and more able to cope with physical limitations.
“From a junk food point of view this is all about trying to make healthier choices and ensure we’re getting the nutrients we need from our food rather than empty calories or too much sugar which can have an effect on some conditions.
“It is so easy to reach for the junk food option but in the long term our bodies will perform better if we look after them. Managing a long term condition means we need all the help we can get!”
