  • A cheque for £700 was handed over to the charity

A Make A Will Fortnight focus has proved another fundraising success for Walsall patients, to the tune of £700.

Walsall Healthcare’s Well Wishers charity teamed up with local solicitors at Enoch Evans who offered their time and expertise once again to support people in getting their affairs in order – with donations made benefitting the charity.

Make a Will Fortnight has been running a few years now and invites a suggested donation of £150 for a joint will and £85 for a single will. This year, the money raised helped to boost funds for the charity appeals that the Trust is currently running which include the playroom on the Children’s Ward.

Georgie Westley, Fundraising Manager at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust, said: “We’d like to thank Enoch Evans for another successful event which has raised hundreds of pounds for the charity. Richard and his team there are so supportive of Well Wishers – not just with this event – and we look forward to working with them again later on in the year.”

Richard Neea, Partner at Enoch Evans, added: “We are always happy to support Well Wishers as it’s a local charity that directly benefits Walsall patients and their families.  Supporting the community, is important to us and we are proud to be associated with Well Wishers through this charity partnership.’’
