Are you visiting our antenatal clinic, or due to have your baby at Walsall Manor Hospital?
Our trust is maintaining a two metre social distance in the hospital and we’re still asking women to attend appointments and scans alone please. Our sonography rooms are small and we can’t keep to a safe social distance if women don’t attend alone. We’re asking partners to wait outside in the car park to ensure our antenatal clinic waiting room is also kept as clear and as safe as possible.
We’re also allowing just one birthing partner during active labour currently. We continually monitor and review these arrangements and will update our website and social media if anything changes.
Pregnant women who feel unwell or are experiencing any problems such as bleeding, pain or reduced movements are being urged to get in touch with us so we can offer support and help.
