People are being given an opportunity to get their affairs in order and support a Walsall charity at the same time through Make A Will Fortnight.
Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust’s Well Wishers charity is once again teaming up with local legal experts, Enoch Evans Solicitors.
Enoch Evans Solicitors has worked with the charity for the last few years offering time and expertise to support people as part of Make A Will Fortnight and donations have boosted a host of charity projects at Walsall Manor Hospital and its community services.
These have included a sensory room in Shelfield for children with complex needs and an upgrade of the hospital’s Chemotherapy treatment room along with a refurbishment of the unit’s reception area.
Richard Neea, Partner and Head of the Wills, Tax and Probate Department at Enoch Evans, said: “More recently we have supported the refurbishment of the Maternity Unit’s Discharge Lounge, which we gather will be opening soon, and we enjoy our partnership with Well Wishers because we see first-hand the positive impact its fundraising makes to people of all ages who use healthcare services.
“As a local company, in the heart of Walsall, our community is important to us, and we want to be part of helping drive meaningful improvements. For us, Well Wishers is a fantastic charity to partner with as we’re always able to see where donations have been spent and we know the Fundraising Team is always looking at ways to enhance services and give patients a good experience.”
This year’s focus runs from 3-14 November and Enoch Evans will provide a Standard Will written for a single person in return for a suggested minimum donation to Well Wishers of £85 and a Joint Standard Will with a minimum donation of £150 (requested at the initial appointment). New clients will need to complete relevant identification and anti-money laundering checks too, a regulatory requirement with a £40 plus VAT fee. Please note that spaces are limited depending on demand.

Georgie added: “Well Wishers is grateful to Enoch Evans Solicitors for once again offering this service to our patients, families and staff.
“The charity raises money for items above and beyond what the NHS provides and this year we’re looking forward to making further improvements to enhance our patients’ experience.”
