Phlebotomy Services (Blood Clinic/Tests)

Important: We are currently experiencing a period of increased waiting times for blood tests. We thank you for your understanding during this time and apologise for any inconvenience.

For Chemotherapy, Oncology, Haematology and Immunocompromised patients:

Please can you come to the front of the queue and let staff know that you are a Haematology, Oncology, Chemotherapy patient or if you are Immunocompromised.

You will be seen on an urgent basis. Our Haematology, Oncology, Chemotherapy and Immunocompromised patients are required to be prioritised.

Thank you for your compliance and understanding.

Before coming to Phlebotomy Services

  • You are not required to bring a printed blood form to the appointment; however, a blood referral request must have been made by the relevant health care professional for us to complete your blood test. Where there is no blood request on the system, you will be politely turned away and asked to chase up with your GP or referrer accordingly.
  • Should you have an upcoming procedure, please ensure that you have the correct referrals, i.e. Group screening form.
  • Walsall Manor Hospital bookings are for ADULTS ONLY (16 years and over)
  • If you have severe needle phobia, Additional needs or Restricted mobility, please inform the receptionist or Phlebotomy team members at your earliest convenience and we will support you.
