Pelvic Floor Service

This content is currently under review with the relevant service.

The Pelvic Floor service offers consultation and multidisciplinary clinics to female patients with evidence of pelvic floor dysfunction, or mixed faecal and urinary incontinence.

Patients are assessed by a Colorectal and Gynaecology consultant together to formulate a cohesive strategy in the management of female incontinence.  This combined clinic also allows for the clinical management and treatment of patients suffering from pelvic floor disorders which can include urinary problems or pain and/or pressure in the vagina or rectum.

The treatments offered include anterior and posterior repair, trans-anal rectocele repair and urodynamic assessment.

Clinics generally operate between 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday.
