Thanks to all Walsall Healthcare staff and families who braved the mud and rain in the 3, 5 and 10k Walsall fun runs! Lots of fun was had by all, with ages from 6 to 86 represented. Competitors’ 5k and 10k finish times are available here. Thanks also to the Rotary Club Walsall for organising.
Trust’s Got Talent 2019 took place at Rushall Labour Club, Walsall.
There was singing, laughing, music, magic, chemistry and lots more which put together made TGT 2019 an absolute fabulous night and raised £797 for Well Wishers.
All acts were colleagues from across the trust with Sister Dora Act taking 1st place, 2nd place Mike Bacallan and peoples choice Ben Malpass coming 3rd. Well done to everyone who took part, the judges, the comperes and of course the organisers.
Huge thanks to JABS Events and Gina Rose Photography for their continued support to the Charity and Rushall Labour Club for allowing us to use their venue!
What a brill day everyone had at Red Star Football Club on Saturday 14th September, despite the newly formed Well Wishers FC losing 5-1 to Aldridge-based Red Star FC.
Both teams played really well and it was all to raise money for the Well Wishers charity. Thanks to all the lads for playing and Red Star for allowing us to be part of their family open day, and also to Multiprint Walsall for supplying the kit.
Watch this space, hopefully more games to come when the Well Wishers lads have recovered.
