What we do

Our Urology service is provided by two Consultant Urological Surgeons and supported by specialist doctors. The team has expertise in treating a wide range of disorders and diseases of the male genito-urinary tract and female urinary tract.

We offer a service for patients with problems relating to kidneys, ureters, the bladder, urethra, prostate and genitalia:

  • Fast track Hematuria Clinic
  • Urgent two week referral for suspected cancer related to the urinary tract
  • Bladder problems with voiding disorders
  • Urinary incontinence
  • Stone disorders in the renal tract and bladder
  • Erectile difficulties
  • Primary infertility

Future plans include increased use of laser surgery to reduce the hospital stay for patients and aid a quicker recovery. Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust is also planning to develop its service for patients with bladder problems.
