Specialist Health Visiting

What we do  

The Specialist Health Visiting Team offer the following service:

  • Work as part of a multi agency team known as Team around the Child (TAC), which consists of members of staff from NHS Walsall Community Health, Early Years SEN team, and Social Care.
  • Assess and monitor children 0-5 years living within the borough of Walsall who may have a disability, potential disabling condition or developmental delay, enabling them to maximise their physical and educational potential.
  • Assess the referrals to the TAC team for their appropriateness.
  • Sign post to other services where necessary.
  • Give family centred advice and support.

Monday to Friday, 8.45am - 5.15pm
