Walsall Falls Prevention Partnership

From 1st November 2015, Walsall Falls Prevention Service changed. We can now receive referrals directly from individuals and their relatives or carers, as well as from healthcare or social care professionals.

Each individual will be risk assessed at the first point of contact to determine which of the following can best  support them:

Community Based Nurse led Osteoporosis Service

What we do

The Community based Osteoporosis Service works with Walsall Manor Hospital in identifying people aged over 50 who have experienced a fracture and are at a potential risk for further fracture or possibly Osteoporosis.
The services provides a Bone Health assessment and identifies risks for further fractures, a Bone Densitometry assessment can be arranged (if required), diagnosis and management of Osteoporosis in combination with the GP.

Hours of Operation

4 days each week 8am -6pm (predominantly Monday – Thursday excluding Bank Holidays)
