Support for Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust Research and Development has been commissioned through CRN West Midlands Study Support Services. The majority of research undertaken within the Trust is ‘NIHR portfolio’ research. These are large, often national studies in which Walsall is one of many Trusts taking part in the project.
Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust is part of the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) Clinical Research Network: West Midlands. The research network will be based at the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust under the clinical directorship of Dr Jeremy Kirk.
