Pharmacy

What we do

Our Pharmacy team provides the lead for Walsall Manor Hospital on all aspects of medicines management through a range of services provided from the Pharmacy department to ward based work with patients and front line staff. Our principal aim is to ensure that patients receive their medication at the time it is needed, in a form that is appropriate, in a way which is safe, supported by effective information throughout.

We achieve this through safe and secure handling of medicines, supporting education and training of those involved and working across the organisation as well as with our primary care partners in supporting the clinical and cost effective use of medicines.
