Ophthalmology

What we do 

The Ophthalmology department provides a general outpatient service from visiting consultants and covers common problems related to cataract, macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and oculoplastic conditions. Special services include neonatal screening and paediatric / adult ocular motility problems. The service includes day case cataract surgery, laser procedures (excluding refractive corrections) and minor operations. The service is supported by our Orthoptics Department.

Hours of Operation

Outpatient clinics generally operate between the hours of 9:00am - 5:00pm
