Make your Will and support a worthy cause

Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust’s charity Well Wishers has teamed up with Enoch Evans LLP Solicitors to offer people a Will making service between 13 and 24 November 2017.

Solicitors from the Walsall firm in Hatherton Road have kindly offered their time and expertise for Make Your Will Fortnight to support people in getting their affairs in order and ensuring their wishes are known.

You can have your Standard Will written free for a single person in return for a suggested minimum donation of £80 or a donation of £150 for Standard Mirror Wills where similar documents are created on behalf of a married, civil partnership or unmarried couple.

Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust Fundraising manager Georgie Westley, said: “You can be assured that 100% of the donation you make will go to the charity which pays for items above and beyond what the NHS can provide.

“Funds raised so far have been used to pay for Active Birthing Beds for mums-to-be and a makeover for the Manor Hospital’s sensory room for young patients on Ward 21 Paediatric Assessment Unit. They have also been spent on tea parties for patients living with dementia.

“And we are currently running a £15,000 appeal to revamp the sensory room used by children with disabilities and complex needs at our Child Development Centre in Shelfield. This room is so important to children who may have sight or hearing loss, or who may be autistic or coping with other conditions. It is designed to be a calming, peaceful area where they can really relax and enjoy an environment that helps to stimulate their senses.

“We are grateful to Enoch Evans LLP for working in partnership with us on Make Your Will Fortnight and thank them for their support.”

Partner and Head of Wills, Tax and Probate at Enoch Evans LLP, Richard Neea said, ‘We are very proud to support the Well Wishers charity and happy to lend our legal expertise to such a worthwhile cause. It’s a privilege to be a part of something that makes a positive change to our local community.’
