The Trust is holding a midwifery recruitment event on Saturday 10 February 2018, from 10am – 4pm at Walsall Manor Hospital.
Midwives are invited to come and find out more about development opportunities, get a chance to see the department and speak to the team directly (including specialist midwives and colleagues from innovative services such as perinatal mental health and health in pregnancy).
Zena Williams is newly qualified and did all her training here - choosing to start her career with our Trust.
"I have seen for myself that feedback past trainees has given has brought about changes. The Trust has listened to what midwives have said and done more to support them,” she said
"I have been guided all the way but allowed to lead when I have been confident to do so. I love following women's journeys and it is a privilege to do so."
Lauren Middleton said: "It's an honour to be a midwife and what makes the job is the women we support. We never know exactly how each delivery will go but we are an important part of women's experiences.
My colleagues are really supportive and we look after each other. It's a good place to work."
