Hundreds of exciting new recruitment opportunities are now available at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust for those looking for a challenge.
Just under 400 vacancies in nursing, midwifery and other roles, both healthcare and administration, are being advertised as part of the Trust’s Care to Join Us campaign.
It’s an exciting time for the Trust as developments are being put in place to help improve the care and experience of its patients and to meet the recommendations made following its CQC inspection. Work has recently begun on the new Integrated Critical Care Unit and a £5.6 million investment in a new Obstetric Theatre and expansion of the neonatal unit was approved by the Trust Board in August.
Rachel Overfield, Director of Nursing said: “This is a great time for people to come and join the Trust as we build upon improvements to our services. We hope our Care to Join Us campaign will attract a number of enthusiastic candidates to join the committed teams we already have.”
Prospective candidates are being encouraged to join the trust by existing staff. Dr James Halpern, Consultant Dermatologist said: “Walsall Healthcare is a great place to work. There are good facilities including excellent staff parking.”
Helen Mason, Sister and Tina Worrall, Staff Nurse in the Trust’s Paediatric Outpatients Department are keen to welcome new recruits. “Everyone is very friendly here,” they said. “We love working here and we love our department. We’re sure anyone who joins the Walsall Healthcare family will feel the same.”
