Acute Diabetes and Endocrinology

What we do  

The Diabetes service at Walsall Manor Hospital strives to provide the best quality of care to people in the region with diabetes. Education and empowerment of patients, carers and primary care providers are the main focus of our service. The Diabetes team comprises two consultants and two Clinical Nurse Specialists.

The multidisciplinary team also has access to dietician, podiatry and retinal screening services. The team is available to provide diabetes care and advice to inpatients.

Monday AM - Diabetics

Wednesday AM - Alternate weeks - Diabetics/Medical Endocrinology

First Wednesday of every month PM - Young people with diabetes

Monday PM - Diabetics

Tuesday PM - Medical Endocrinology

Wednesday PM - Diabetics

Thursday AM - Medical Endocrinology
