Diabetes Week - Mark's Story 

“If you had asked me ten years about the possibility of losing a foot because of my diabetes, I would have said ‘no way, that will never happen to me. You convince yourself that it won’t happen to you, but it almost certainly will if you don’t take your diabetes seriously.”

Amputee Mark Joiner now wishes he could tell his younger self to look after his condition properly, after losing half of his right foot.

£10k Neonatal Unit boost from grateful mum

Walsall children are having a ball thanks to Well Wishers! 

Children who use the main playroom at a Shelfield centre will be having a ball thanks to a local organisation which has funded a new feature there.

Willenhall Area Relief Rehabilitation and Nursing Trust (Warrant) spotted Walsall Healthcare’s Well Wishers charity appeal to update and refurbish the Child Development Centre’s sensory room. Part of the appeal was to provide a new ball pit and Warrant kindly donated £2,310 which covered the cost of this as well as additional matting.
