Diabetes Week - Mark's Story 

“If you had asked me ten years about the possibility of losing a foot because of my diabetes, I would have said ‘no way, that will never happen to me. You convince yourself that it won’t happen to you, but it almost certainly will if you don’t take your diabetes seriously.”

Amputee Mark Joiner now wishes he could tell his younger self to look after his condition properly, after losing half of his right foot.
