Walsall Mayor's Gold Star for patient care

Congratulations to Dr Andrew Hartland, Consultant Chemical Pathologist, and the Walsall Lipid Service team for being presented with a Gold Star award by the Mayor of Walsall.

The nomination was made by Walsall Women’s Forum to recognise the achievements of Dr Hartland and the team in delivering high standards of patient care. The Lipid Service at Walsall has won both local and national awards since its inception nearly 30 years ago.

Dr Hartland, who has been with the Trust around 15 years,  said: “I’m both delighted and humbled that Walsall Women’s Forum nominated both myself and the team for this award; to have our patient care standards praised is really important as we work to provide the best services we can.”

The Mayor was supported by Madeleine Holland, Chair of Walsall Women’s Forum and Mr Amir Khan, the Trust’s Medical Director.
